Andy Lakey Texture Paintings
In this project we will be exploring artworks by our focus artist Andy Lakey. Andy Lakey is famous for creating unique works of art for the non-sighted viewer. To do this he uses a strong canvas or art backing like wood so people can touch and feel the art. On the wood Andy makes bumps in his paintings so it can not only look interesting but it can also feel interesting as well! While we work on this project we want to make sure we can make an artwork that not only looks but also feels interesting to us.
